Is FreeChatNow safe to use?
FreeChatNow carries more risk than most chat sites: it’s anonymous, adult-oriented and, judging by user reviews, inconsistently moderated. Every one of its 23 Trustpilot reviews is one star, citing scammers, fake profiles, unexplained bans and concerns about minors in rooms. If you use it, protect yourself.
- Restez anonyme. Use a username that isn’t linked to you, and never share your full name, address, phone number or workplace.
- Be careful on cam. Anything you show can be recorded; keep your face and surroundings out of shot if in doubt.
- Ignore money and link requests. Requests to pay, buy gift cards or visit another site are classic scams.
- Report anyone who seems underage and leave the conversation immediately.
- Réservé aux personnes de plus de 18 ans. FreeChatNow is an adult site and is not suitable for minors.

If you want group webcam rooms with a cleaner setup, our OMGChat review is a good place to start. For text-first rooms with a guest login, Chatib is simpler and less sexual, and our guide to safer websites to talk to strangers lists better-moderated options.
Who is FreeChatNow best for?
FreeChatNow is best for adults who specifically want free, open chat rooms with webcam options and are comfortable with adult content. It’s a poor fit for anyone looking for friendly, moderated conversation or a dating service. If you’d rather have a simple one-on-one chat vidéo with a stranger, try our chat webcam gratuit, qui ne nécessite aucune inscription (18+).

En résumé
FreeChatNow has survived since the late 1990s by keeping things free and frictionless: pick a name and you’re chatting by text, voice or webcam. But its rooms lean heavily adult, and user reviews paint a poor picture of moderation and safety. Use it only with your guard up, or choose a better-moderated site. Our rating: 2.5/5.
