Is Chatville safe to use?
Chatville is moderately safe for adults who stay careful. It is clearly 18+ and lets you see who is watching your cam, but it publishes little about how it moderates, and open random video chat always carries a risk of explicit or abusive users.
- Check who is watching. Use the viewer list and turn your cam off if someone unexpected is watching.
- Keep personal details out of chat, including your full name, social handles and location.
- Be careful in group cams. More people means more chances of being recorded.
- Skip and report anyone who is abusive or explicit without your consent.
- 18+ only. Chatville is for adults; minors should not use it.
