Chatingly at a glance

Kaj je Chatingly?

Chatingly is a browser-based video chat service that randomly pairs adults for one-on-one webcam conversations. The site describes its calls as peer-to-peer over an encrypted connection and says they aren’t recorded. It follows the classic Chatroulette formula — start, pogovor, skip — with a cleaner, less cluttered layout than many older sites. It doesn’t publish a launch date or the company behind it, so treat it as a smaller, independent option rather than a big established brand.

How does Chatingly work?

1. Open chatingly.com in a desktop or mobile browser.
2. Confirm you are 18 or older and, optionally, add up to eight interests.
3. Allow camera and microphone access.
4. Get matched with a random stranger for a one-on-one video chat.
5. Kliknite Naprej to skip, or Poročilo to end the chat and flag the user.

Is Chatingly free?

Yes — Chatingly is free, and the site says there are no coins and no time limits on one-on-one chats. There’s no premium tier listed, which also means there are no paid extras such as gender filters that some competitors charge for.

Is Chatingly safe to use?

Chatingly is reasonably safe for adults who follow basic precautions, but its moderation is lighter than on larger platforms. It relies mainly on user reports rather than visible human moderation, so you may still meet rude or explicit users.

• Ostanite anonimni. Don’t share your name, address, school, workplace or social handles.
• Check your background. Assume anything on camera can be screenshotted or recorded by the other person.
• Report and skip fast. The report button ends the chat immediately.
• Never move to another app or send money because a stranger asks you to.
• Samo za osebe, starejše od 18 let. Chatingly is for adults, and the age check relies on users being honest.

How Chatingly compares with other random video chat sites

Chatingly’s simplicity is its selling point, but rivals give you more control. If you want to choose who you meet, ChatHub’s free gender and language filters ali Camround’s country filter go further. For interest-led conversations with a more social feel, how Emerald Chat works is worth reading, and Grom is another free option built around shared interests.

Who is Chatingly best for?

Chatingly is best for adults who want a fast, no-commitment video chat with no account and no paywall. It suits casual users who don’t mind pure random matching. If you want gender filters, a mobile app or a bigger crowd at all hours, try one of the alternatives above, or start our brezplačen klepet s kamerami z neznanci — no sign-up needed (18+).

Bistvo

Chatingly delivers a clean, free and genuinely sign-up-free take on random video chat, and its interest tags are a nice touch. But no gender or country filters, no app, light moderation and no information about who runs it keep it in the middle of the pack. It’s fine for a quick chat; for more control, the established sites in our guide to talking to strangers on video call are stronger picks. Naša ocena: 3/5.
